Fee schedule adjustments are necessary to recover the full operating costs associated with administering the nation's lawful immigration system and safeguarding its integrity and promise by efficiently and fairly adjudicating requests for immigration benefit, while protecting Americans, securing the homeland, and honoring our values. This final rule also makes certain adjustments to fee waiver eligibility, filing requirements for nonimmigrant workers, premium processing service, and other administrative requirements.
