Stuart Wrede Finnish architect and environmental artist, studied and spent much of his professional life in the United States. More than any other contemporary figure, Tadao Ando has been the architect of the reinforced concrete wall, creating volumes delimited by such boundaries, not only in order to define space but also to form it in such a way as to admit and reveal an ever-changing pattern of light. Following numerous educational trips across all continents, he opened his own studio in , with which he would work on a vast number of projects.
